I'm an experienced tutor (and a former secondary school teacher) with over 20 years of teaching experience.

 

I provide a variety of tuition packages to help students in UKS2 - KS4 to improve their English and prepare for 11+, 13+ and GCSE English exams.

What Do I Teach?

 

At English Home Studies, I provide expert tuition in KS2 English, KS3 English, GCSE English Language and Literature and targeted support for the 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance Exams.

EHS Shop

 

I specialise in AQA English Language and Literature but am familiar with all exam boards, such as Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas.

 

As I'm fully booked for 1:1 English tuition until June 2025, I also make digital and printable ebooks and activity packs so that I can continue to help students of all ages to practise and develop their English knowledge and skills.

For students of GCSE AQA English Language, I have also created some digital and printable guides to Paper 1 and Paper 2 which contain the detailed strategies I share with my Year 10 and 11 tutees in their online lessons. For more information, please visit my shop.
